Hey, good people. The app teardown newsletter is back after months of radio silence.
Iâm writing again. After 5 months. Boy, does it feel good.
So, why did I disappear?
Those who follow my journey on LinkedIn know this already. If you donât, hereâs whyâŠ
I burnt out. Period.
Juggling client work, while building my own B2C app, while raising an army of kids, without losing my sanity, was tough already.
The last 5 months, I just didnât have the mental bandwidth to add âwriting and showing up on social mediaâ to the mix.
But things are looking up now. [Finally!]
The situation today:
I changed my mind on âsolopreneurshipâ. Thatâs for people without kids.
Those with kids need a trusted partner-in-crime.
Luckily, I found mine at the start of 2025.
For the past 6 months, weâve worked together on multiple apps from verticals like [cybersecurity, parental controls, health & fitness, along with a few others]
We were on the same wavelength from day 1. And Iâm incredibly grateful for that.
We made many mistakes. But we also put many wins on the board.
One of the wins was: Building a scalable system to deliver high-quality, high-impact work to our clientsâwithout sacrificing our sanity, values, and health.
More about that later. Letâs move on toâŠ
The situation coming up next:
At the end of 2024, I announced Iâm building a habit tracker app for men who canât seem to get rid of that stubborn belly fat.
[Are you one of them too? Get early access to the app now đ ]
Well, weâre finally near the public launch date.
If youâre reading this, youâll be the first one to know when we get the âapp ready for distribution on App Storeâ message from Apple.
I admire founders who build in public.
So Iâve taken a similar approach for my app too.
Hereâs a photo of the day I designed my appstore screenshots:
âEnough with the rant. Whatâs the Skool community you mentioned earlier?â
You know how mobile app businesses sometimes hit a revenue plateau and canât seem to find a way to break out of it.
Well, we created an easy-to-buy, low-commitment offer for app founders who need fresh eyes on the product problems theyâve been stuck with for months.
After working with so many app founders over the years, we repeatedly see this common pattern â âIâm not 100% sure what to fix first or which feature should I roll out next?"
That's where Falco and I come in.
Our goal is to help you reveal your app's blind spots and revenue leakages in days [if not hours after joining the Roast My App Kitchen]
âWhat happens after joining the kitchen?â
You will get the followingâŠ
A private figjam workspace for your mobile app
Regular personalized loom feedback from Falco/Muhammad
Sticky notes on things you're doing wrong, right & opportunity to improve
"Been there, done that" wisdom from other app builders in the community.
Exclusive access to our mobile PLG playbook, swipe file & 'and client-only resources."
âAnd why should I care?â
What if you could fix your onboarding, paywalls, core feature UX, activation, retention, and monetization strategy ALL ON YOUR OWNâwithout paying growth consultants and agencies [like ourselves] $1K-$10K/month.
Thatâs the end game.
We want to âteach you how to fish and feed yourself for a lifetime.â
And thatâs the end of todayâs newsletter.
Congrats, if youâve made it this far. [Youâre a good human, even if nobody tells you this]
The only Call-to-action for today is this:
Hi there!𫥠This is Muhammad Rahat & Falco Huhold from Roast My App
We help mobile app founders waste less ad spend by fixing their app funnel.
